A scenic park in Cherrapunji offering spectacular views of the three-tiered Kynrem Falls, Khoh Ramhah rock, and the plains of Bangladesh.
Thangkharang Park is a well-maintained viewpoint park located on the edge of a cliff, about 12 kilometers from the main Cherrapunji town. Managed by the State Forest Department, its main draw is the incredible panoramic view it provides. From here, you get a direct and expansive sight of the three-tiered Kynrem Falls, one of India's tallest waterfalls. On a clear day, the vista extends far beyond the hills, offering a sweeping look at the plains of Bangladesh stretching out to the horizon.
