Experience three unique crescent beaches, an iconic lighthouse, and gentle waves at one of Kerala's most famous coastal destinations.
Discover what makes this destination truly special

Kovalam is a world-famous beach destination known for its three adjacent crescent-shaped beaches separated by rocky outcrops. The largest and most popular of these is Lighthouse Beach, named after the 30-meter high Vizhinjam Lighthouse that stands on a rocky cape. Visitors can climb to the top of the lighthouse for a wide view of the coastline. The second beach is Hawah Beach, also known as Eve's Beach, which is a center of activity for local fishermen in the early mornings. The third, Samudra Beach, is the northernmost part and is more separated, offering a quieter atmosphere with fewer crowds.
Plan your trip around the ideal season for the best experience
December-January, weekends, and national holidays, due to perfect weather and holiday season.
September-November and February-March, when the weather is still good but the main holiday rush is over.
