Discover what makes this destination truly special

The Tungabhadra Dam, often called TB Dam, is a large multipurpose dam constructed across the Tungabhadra River. Located near the town of Hospet, it's a significant modern engineering project in the region and a popular recreational spot for both locals and tourists visiting Hampi. The dam creates a huge reservoir, and the area around it has been developed into a pleasant public space. The main attractions here are the expansive views from atop the dam, looking out over the water on one side and the irrigated lands on the other. Visitors are usually taken to the top by a designated bus service.
