A long, quiet stretch of sandy shore on Vypin Island in Kochi, known for its lighthouse, views of shipping channels, and peaceful sunsets.
Discover what makes this destination truly special

Vypin Beach is a long stretch of golden sand located on Vypin Island, a narrow strip of land that separates the Vembanad Lake from the Arabian Sea. Unlike some of Kochi's more crowded beaches, Vypin offers a calmer, more relaxed atmosphere, making it popular with locals and visitors looking for a quiet evening. The beach runs parallel to the Puthuvype-Munambam road, making it easily accessible. Visitors can take long walks along the shore, watch local fishermen with their nets, and see large ships moving in and out of the nearby Kochi Port, which is a unique sight.
