The best time to visit Willingdon Island is from October to March. During these months, the weather in Kochi is pleasant and dry, with comfortable temperatures ideal for exploring the area. The summer months, from April to May, are very hot and humid. The monsoon season, from June to September, brings heavy rainfall which can disrupt travel plans, although the island appears lush and green during this time. Road

The island is connected to the mainland by the Venduruthy Bridges (Old and New). It is easily accessible by road from NH 66 and other major state highways that pass through Kochi.

Local Transport

Local transport options are plentiful. You can take a public bus, hire an auto-rickshaw, or use ride-hailing apps like Uber and Ola. Ferry services from Ernakulam, Fort Kochi, and Mattancherry are a scenic and popular way to get to the island.
