The fort itself is a simple stone structure, not very large, with a main bastion, a small well, and ramparts you can walk on. The atmosphere is generally quiet and far removed from the city's usual noise. The best time to visit is from October to March when the weather is cool and pleasant, with clear skies perfect for views and photography. Avoid the summer months from April to June, as the heat and humidity can be intense. The monsoon season (July to September) offers dramatic sea views, but the paths can become very slippery and access might be difficult due to waterlogging in the lanes.

Train

The closest major railway station is Dadar, around 5 km away. For local travel, the nearest suburban railway stations are Prabhadevi (Western Line) and Parel (Central Line). From any of these stations, you can take a taxi or a local BEST bus to Worli Village.

Road

Worli is well-connected by road. You can drive down the Worli Sea Face road and head towards Worli Koliwada. Taxis and app-based cabs can take you to the entrance of the village, from where the fort is a short walk.

Local Transport

BEST buses are a convenient option, with several routes stopping at Worli Village bus stop. Taxis are available throughout Mumbai. Auto-rickshaws are also available but may not ply in this specific part of South Mumbai.
