Yellapur is well-connected by road and lies on NH 52 (formerly NH 63). It is about 85 km from Gokarna, 70 km from Hubli, and 60 km from Karwar. KSRTC buses run regularly from these cities to Yellapur town.

From Yellapur town, you need to hire a local auto-rickshaw or jeep to visit the waterfalls, which are located 15-25 km away in different directions. Negotiate the fare for a round trip beforehand.
