Best Time to Visit

The best time for zorbing is from May to June and again from September to October. During these months, the weather is pleasant, and the grassy slopes of Solang Valley are lush and ideal for the activity. Avoid the monsoon months of July and August as the slopes become slippery and the activity is often suspended. In winter (December to February), the slopes are covered in snow, and zorbing is replaced by other snow-based activities.

Air

Train

The nearest major broad-gauge railway station is Chandigarh (CDG), about 320 km away. From there, you can hire a taxi or take an overnight bus to Manali, which takes around 8-9 hours.

Road

Manali is well-connected by road to major cities like Delhi (approx. 550 km) and Chandigarh (approx. 310 km) via NH3. Regular government-run and private buses operate on this route. From Manali, Solang Valley is a 14 km drive.

Local Transport

From the Manali town center, you can hire a private taxi, an auto-rickshaw, or rent a motorcycle to get to Solang Valley. Local buses also ply the route but with less frequency.
