Historic Portuguese fort ruins in Mumbai offering stunning views of the Arabian Sea and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, a popular spot for sunset viewing.
Bandra Fort, officially named Castella de Aguada, is a historic watchtower located at Land's End in Bandra, Mumbai. Built by the Portuguese in 1640, what remains today are the fort's stone walls, a main archway, and a few bastions. The site is less of a complete fort and more of a public garden set among historical ruins. Visitors walk through a landscaped garden to reach the main structure, which opens up to expansive views of the Arabian Sea and the Mahim Bay.
