Discover what makes this destination truly special

Jama Masjid, officially known as Masjid-i-Jehan-Numa, stands as a monumental statement of Mughal architecture in the heart of Old Delhi. Commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan, this mosque is one of the largest in India, capable of holding over 25,000 people in its vast courtyard. As you approach, you'll pass through crowded streets and markets before reaching the grand staircase leading up to the entrance. The entire structure is built from red sandstone and white marble, creating a striking visual contrast. The mosque features three large domes, two towering minarets each 40 meters high, and four smaller towers.
