Kuruva Island, locally known as Kuruva Dweep, is a protected river delta comprising a cluster of uninhabited islets on the Kabini River in Wayanad. Spanning over 950 acres, it is a dense evergreen forest maintained by the Kerala Forest Department. The experience begins with a short crossing on a bamboo raft or a small fiber boat, which takes you to the main island. Once there, you can explore the area through well-defined walking trails that wind through thick bamboo groves, diverse trees, and streams.

Open on all days except during the monsoon season (usually June to September). Last entry is generally around 15:30. Timings can change based on weather conditions and instructions from the Forest Department. It is always best to verify locally before visiting.
Fee for Indian adults is approximately ₹110. For foreign nationals, it's ₹200. Children may have a reduced rate. Still camera fee is around ₹50 and video camera fee is ₹250. Prices are subject to change by the Forest Department.
