A historic wooden pagoda-style temple in Old Manali, dedicated to the sage Manu, the mythological creator of humanity.
Located in the quiet lanes of Old Manali, the Manu Temple is dedicated to the Indian sage Manu, who is believed to be the creator of the human race according to Hindu mythology. The structure is a beautiful example of Himachali architecture, built primarily with wood and stone in a pagoda style. To reach the temple, visitors walk up a slightly steep, stone-paved path, which adds to the experience of journeying to a sacred place. The atmosphere around the temple is calm and distinct from the more commercialized parts of Manali.
