A large, spacious 16th-century temple complex in Hampi dedicated to Lord Rama, noted for its impressive Dravidian architecture and quieter atmosphere.
The Pattabhirama Temple is a large temple complex dedicated to Lord Rama, located slightly away from the main tourist trail in Hampi. Built during the Vijayanagara period, it stands as a fine example of Dravidian architecture. As you enter, you are greeted by a vast, open courtyard that gives a sense of scale and space often missing in the more crowded central sites. The main temple structure is at the center, featuring a sanctum, an antechamber, and several pillared halls, or mandapas.
