A seasonal waterfall in Goa reached via a forest trek, known for its unique rock formation shaped like a Shivling.
Shivling Waterfall is a seasonal cascade located deep within the forests of the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary in North Goa. Reaching it requires a moderate trek of about 6-7 kilometers, making the journey as much a part of the experience as the destination itself. The trail takes you through dense vegetation, across several small streams, and up gentle inclines, offering a full immersion into Goa's Western Ghats ecosystem. The waterfall is named for a distinct rock formation at its base that resembles a Shiva Lingam, which gives the place a unique character.
