Discover what makes this destination truly special

Yana is known for its two unique, massive rock outcrops located within the dense forests of the Western Ghats. These formations are composed of black, crystalline Karst limestone and stand out dramatically against the green surroundings. The taller of the two is Bhairaveshwara Shikhara, rising to about 120 meters, while the smaller one, Mohini Shikhara, is about 90 meters tall. To reach the rocks, visitors undertake a short trek of about 1.5 kilometers through a shaded forest path, which adds an element of adventure to the visit.
